Talent Show: The 2012 Talent Show will be held on Saturday, February 25. Come out and see all of our young performers! Click here for more information.

Silver Graphics: Our students are busy in art class creating artwork for the Silver Graphics fundraiser! If you would rather have your child submit artwork from home, please send it in by Friday, February 24 (to Lin Millard/PTA). Any artwork submitted after this date will not be included in the fundraiser. Click here to see the artwork requirements. 

Open Board Positions: The PTA has the following board positions open for the 2012-2013 school year:

Dr. Seuss Night: We will be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday on Friday, March 2! If you plan to attend this fun (and FREE) event, please fill out the form that was sent home in backpack mail and return to school.

PTA Meeting: The next PTA meeting will be held on Monday, March 5 at 7pm at PVS. Following the General Meeting, there will be a Room Parent meeting to discuss the end-of-the-year events such as Teacher Appreciation and Class Picnics.

Basket Auction: Save the date for our annual Spring Basket Auction and Family Fun Night, to be held on Friday, March 30! Parents should have received their basket themes through backpack mail (or PEX). Click here for a list of classrooms and their themes. Donations are due by March 7. If you are looking for some ideas for your classroom basket donations, click here.

Book Swap
: The Book Swap will be held from March 26 - April 2! Please send your "like new" books in by March 16. Click here for the Book Swap flyer that was sent home through backpack mail.

After-School Club: The PTA is looking for volunteers to help organize and oversee an After-School Club in the 2012-2013 school year at PVS. This club will run for 6 week intervals (1 hour/week) and will potentially consist of activities such as art, dance, karate, legos, etc. For more information, contact Kathy Deacon at kad83058@aol.com or 863-9986.

Box Tops Contest: The next Box Tops contest will end on April 15, so continue clipping, collecting and sending in your Box Tops! The classroom from each school with the most Box Tops will win an ice cream party!
